How to Play Annoy the Frog
Annoy the Frog is a simple interactive browser game with no score, timer, account, or download. The entire game is built around picking up one deeply unimpressed frog and seeing how his body and face react.
Grab the frog
Press or tap anywhere on the frog and keep holding. You can use a mouse, touchscreen, or stylus. While he is grabbed, his eyes follow the interaction and his expression becomes noticeably less patient.
Throw him across the room
Move the pointer while holding the frog, then release. A quick release produces a stronger throw; a slower movement produces a gentler drop. Gravity, rotation, wall collisions, floor collisions, bouncing, and friction determine where he lands.
Watch his reactions
The frog changes expression when he is grabbed, airborne, startled, or hit. His glasses can bounce or shift after harder impacts. Voice lines play only occasionally so that every collision does not trigger the same response, and his mouth moves while a line is playing.
Use the controls
Music turns the background track on or off. Browsers require an intentional interaction before audio can begin, so tap the game or the music control first. Reset returns the frog to his starting position whenever he gets stuck or you simply want a clean restart.
Playing on a phone
The game supports touch controls and adjusts to smaller screens. Keep one finger on the frog while dragging and release in the direction you want him to travel. The frog may move partly beyond the edge of the screen, but enough of him remains reachable.
Is there a goal?
No. Annoy the Frog is a small character toy designed for a few minutes of harmless chaos—or for leaving open while the frog sits in his room and the music plays.
